Elyse S. Silverman has exclusively represented clients in divorce and family matters throughout Manhattan and various counties in New York and New Jersey. She began her career as a matrimonial litigator at Koehler & Isaacs LLP, where she counseled hundreds of individuals on marital agreements, custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, orders of protection, paternity, enforcement and modification of orders and court procedure.
A graduate of New York Law School, Ms. Silverman was first exposed to matrimonial law by New York County’s matrimonial Supreme Court Justices serving as court professors and through her volunteer work for the Uncontested Divorce Project.
Today, Ms. Silverman serves as Justice of the Phi Alpha Delta New York City alumni chapter and District Justice to seven law school chapters. Ms. Silverman is an active member of the New York County Lawyer’s Association.
